share your personal information with anyone other than staff, faculty, teleclass
leaders, affiliates and/or fellow students. Program participant
rosters are sent via email to all participants before the program start date and
time. Program rosters contain your name, city, state,
phone number and email address. By participating in our programs, you agree to
keep such information confidential and further agree to use contact information for the sole
purpose of communications during the the program or course unless a very personal relationship
is formed.
As

assured that you and only you will have access to that information unless you
share your password with someone else. If you use the message board or
participate in live chats on the site any information that you reveal in those
areas will be available for other users to read. Please use common sense and
discretion accordingly.
We will collect anonymous statistical data from the
site which we may use for our own marketing purposes and which we may
occasionally share with third parties. This might include, for example, data on
the percentage of people living in a certain state who rank "fun/leisure" as
their number one priority. Your specific personal choices will never be revealed
to anyone. You would only be part of an aggregate pool which would include a
large number of other anonymous individuals.
We may collect your email address in connection with
contests sponsored by the site. That information will not leave the hands of the
staff or contributors of CoachInc.com and will not be shared with any third
party.
If you use our future "tell a friend" feature, we will ask
you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your
friend an email inviting them to visit our site. We store this information for
the purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend may contact us to request
the removal of this information from our database.
We may contact you directly if we have questions
about your account. If you have any doubt that it is someone from CoachInc.com
contacting you, please feel free to take the caller’s name and then call our
office to verify their identify.
We may change our privacy policy from time to time
and you should visit this page to re-read the policy occasionally. Conditions
under which we will make an exception to our privacy policy are: to comply with
the law, if we are investigating a breech of internal security, or to insure the
safety of our users, our coaches, or our staff.
If you have questions about our privacy policy, please
e-mail us at statements@coachinc.com.

Cookie Use Notice
On a limited number of its web pages,
the CoachInc.com site employs "cookies" to provide better service to its customers. CoachInc.com
does not use cookies to collect any personally identifying information from users
or to track user activities beyond our web site. CoachInc.com does not maintain
copies of cookies on our web site after you leave our web site.
Cookies are small pieces of temporary data
that are exchanged between a web site and a user's computer which enable a
"session", or "dialog", to be established between the two machines. With
the session established, CoachInc.com is able to tailor its responses (i.e., identify
and provide you with the information you want) and help you traverse our web
pages in the most efficient and effective manner possible. The session is often
broken when CoachInc.com’s server does not receive further requests from your computer or
you simply exit your browser.
CoachInc.com limits
its use of cookies to "session cookies"… types of cookies that
are temporarily stored in your computer's memory. Session cookies are normally deleted
from a user's computer when the user logs off the computer or the user exits
the browser. As of August, 2002, CoachInc.com does not issue "persistent cookies"…types of
cookies that could be stored permanently on your workstation and reused each
time you visit CoachInc.com’s web site. Before August, 2002, however, CoachInc.com had a small
number of web sites that automatically created persistent cookies. Those cookies
may still be stored on some user's computers and, in some cases, may be updated
by the user's browser when revisiting the CoachInc.com web site. In the event a cookie
is found on your workstation that was issued from a CoachInc.com web site, you may
remove it without adversely affecting your future visits to our web site.
Security of Transaction Data
We
ensure that your personal data, your credit card data and your purchasing
information remain secure by encrypting them as they are transferred across the
Internet.
Verification of Transaction
Recipient
CoachInc.com uses VeriSign to ensure that your transaction
with us cannot be intercepted or interrupted by any third party.
VeriSign's authentication procedures have withstood the
most rigorous scrutiny from independent third-party auditors. In fact, VeriSign
is the only Certificate Authority in the world to have passed an extensive
independent SAS 70 audit by KPMG, the global accounting and consulting firm.
(The Statement of Auditing Standard 70, SAS 70, was established by the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants to certify trusted practices.)
CoachInc.com brings together a combination of
industry-approved security technologies to protect data for the bank and for
you, our customer. It features password-controlled system entry, a
VeriSign-issued Digital ID for the bank's server, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
protocol for data encryption, and a router loaded with a firewall to regulate
the inflow and outflow of server traffic.
Secure Data Transfer
Once the server session is established, the user and the
server are in a secured environment. Because the server has been certified as a
128-bit secure server by VeriSign, data traveling between the user and the
server is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. With SSL, data
that travels between the bank and customer is encrypted and can only be
decrypted with the public and private key pair. In short, the bank's server
issues a public key to the end user's browser and creates a temporary private
key. These two keys are the only combination possible for that session. When the
session is complete, the keys expire and the whole process starts over when a
new end user makes a server session.
Router and Firewall
Requests must filter through a router and
firewall before they are permitted to reach CoachInc.com’s servers. A router, a piece of
hardware, works in conjunction with the firewall, a piece of software, to block
and direct traffic coming to the server. The configuration begins by disallowing
ALL traffic and then opens holes only when necessary to process acceptable data
requests, such as retrieving web pages or sending customer requests to the
bank.
Please contact webmaster if you have any questions
or concerns.
