I began leading classes for CoachInc:
Before coaching professionally:
I started coaching fairly young (26) and so didn't have a huge career prior to my now 15 years as a coach. But in that time I worked in psychological research into adult mental health and also worked as an internal coach at American Express whilst I trained at CoachU.
My coaching practice:
I am sometimes described rather unglamorously as generalist coach. This means I don't have a particular niche. I coach men and women of all ages around the world on all topics of life, work and business. This means sometimes I'll be working with a CEO then a headmaster and next a 17 year old about career options. I love the diversity. My practice operates through referrals for which I am always grateful!
I love leading classes at CoachU because I am passionate about growing our wonderful profession both in size and quality, which in turn means that more people in the world will be supported to reach their potential.
The most unique quality of my leadership:
I am told by students at CoachU that I am very natural and authentic and that this allows for people to be themselves and feel safe and not judged on or show in the classes.
What I expect from the coaches on my calls:
I expect coaches on the calls to be present, bring their energy to the class and above all to be themselves.
My favorite benefit from leading classes:
I never fail to feel inspired by the commitment new coaches have towards being the best they can be as a coach to serve their clients.
Feedback from students:
The most common words that appear in feedback are - supportive, nonjudgmental. tons of experience and tips, high energy and great acknowledger.
