|I began leading classes for CoachInc:|
|Before coaching professionally:|
|Ken Abrams is a Master Certified Coach (MCC), Board Certified Coach (BCC), and CEO of a full service coaching corporation offering coaching services, leadership development, strategic planning, and operational improvement for over 14 years. He is a trainer at CoachU and 3 other Schools in the US.
Ken’s professional services include one-on-one & Group coaching; facilitation, and workshops, strategizing, leadership, management, career advancement, and personal issues.|
|My coaching practice:|
|My 30+ person practice is made up of entrepreneurs, professionals, and executives. I also do mentor coaching|
|I love leading teleclasses! My main vision in leading is that students leave the class with more tools, energy and expertise than when they came in! I like to have fun with my fellow coaches.|
|The most unique quality of my leadership:|
|My teaching style is just like the style of the teachers I had when I went through the curriculum.
I focus on teaching the material both inside and outside the book. I like to have fun in class and expect you to do the same. I will bring to class personal experiences when appropriate.
I am more forward than many of the instructors; that’s my style.
(You do get extra points for laughing at my jokes.)|
|What I expect from the coaches on my calls:|
|I love teaching classes at CoachU; I also like working behind the scenes with my fellow teleclass leaders improving the curriculum. I love the material itself, and I think the Guiding Principles are the best tool in coaching! I do run a business and have a full practice. I integrate business education in the coaching education as often as appropriate. I expect participation in class. If there is a challenge with me, the material, or the learning… please call me……no kidding.|
|My favorite benefit from leading classes:|
|I love facilitating class dialogue which really moves student's coaching knowledge and cofidence AND
seeing students becoming magnificent coaches!|
|Feedback from students:|
|Ken had a great knack for zeroing in on strong teaching moments in each coaching session. The class benefited from his expertise. The class was run well and structured well which allowed us to make the most of the class time. Ken was supportive while at the same time providing good feedback. He also helped us understand some aspects of what separates good coaches from great coaches. This was my first practicum and I found it to be one of the more valuable classes.|
