Faculty Bio - Carly Anderson
Name:
Carly Anderson, MCC
Coach Training:
Coach U
Certifications:
Certified Coach Graduate (Coach U)
Master Certified Coach (ICF)
I began leading classes for CoachInc:
1998
Before coaching professionally:
*Originally from Australia, I moved to the United States in 2001 after marrying a fellow coach I met at the ICF global conference in 1999! *my first career was working in the Media Department of Advertising Agencies in Australia (I loved this career) *National Training Manager for a short while *I co-founded a Corporate Communications consulting firm that had 5 employees and $800K AUD in revenue by year 5, and I sold my half in year 7 to coach and train full-time.
My coaching practice:
1. I love working with technical managers to become better leaders, communicators, and conscious of their own impact on others. www.stellarleader.com 2. I have a passion for mentoring coaches using the ICF core competencies as the focus. I'm a very active ICF Assessor, and also an Assessor for CoachInc. I prepare coaches for their MCC, PCC & ACC (and CoachInc)applications. www.thementorcoachinggroup.com
Introduction:
I want to support students to be the best coaches to graduate from any coach training program, having the best understanding and demonstration of coaching skills and the ICF core competencies.
The most unique quality of my leadership:
I have a vision of supporting 1000 new Master Certified Coaches to be credentialed by 2018 - because I know what that standard of coaching will do for clients. I have created an audio/visual product called The Target Approach: Demystifying the ICF Core Competencies. I am sought out to speak on (and demonstrate) the core competencies and masterful coaching.
What I expect from the coaches on my calls:
Be present. Engage fully. Ask for what you need. Be responsible for your learning and being a fellow adult learner. So tell me if I'm being too direct (or indirect) or you need something different from me. Don't wait until the course is over!
My favorite benefit from leading classes:
Engaging with fellow coaches, helping each other to improve our coaching skills.
Feedback from students:
Carly had an amazing energy that literally transmitted through the telephone. She was upbeat and positive and really encouraged participation and opinion as well as experiences. I really enjoyed her coaching style and she made coaching seem so easy.
