Before coaching professionally:
I have almost 20 years experience working in both large and small organizations. I have supported fast growing companies and newly merged companies in developing the people and the infrastructure necessary for success. I have firsthand knowledge in developing strong customer service from working in public relations and training in corporate hotels across Canada.
My coaching practice:
My practice is focused on being a resource to coaches by providing them with information, referrals, personal coaching and supervision. I also offer a program focused on ICF coaching core competencies proficiency. My corporate practice is focused on working with executives and their teams to maximize self-awareness, authenticity, an understanding of their impact on others and optimizing performance. I work with a number of assessments to offer tangible tools and factual feedback.
I am committed to being a driving force behind maintaining high standards and building credibility for the coaching profession. I am actively involved in the ICF Calgary Chapter and continue to volunteer on ICF Global committees in various capacities. My approach is direct, creative and values driven with a mix of gentle caring, openness and courage.
The most unique quality of my leadership:
I am committed to growing, learning, and experimenting with new behaviors, questioning my beliefs and being on the fast track, constantly challenging myself. I ask my clients to do the same. I am enormously committed to the success of my clients and to growing coaching as a profession as I know the huge impact it can have in allowing people to live out their greatness and making a difference in the world.
What I expect from the coaches on my calls:
I expect coaches to follow high standards and ethics, to be the best that they can be and honor the profession and their clients through their words and their behavior. I expect coaches to take on clients they believe in and for whom they can hold the highest and best. I expect coaches to say the truth however difficult it can be from a place of inner peace and love for the benefit of the coaching relationship.
My favorite benefit from leading classes:
Teleclasses require me to dance in the moment, to be very present to the needs and dynamics of the group. It is challenging and yet offers an environment where we create together in a safe environment. It is a place where we learn to trust and surrender to the process.
